We had a fantastic stay at Holifield Farm. the location is perfect for exploring southern Cornwall and the village of Gweek. the hostel has a great vibe and everyone, including the hosts Hugo and Rob, were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the Apple View cabin, which was a spacious and well, equipped self, contained unit with beautiful views over the apple orchard and hills. Our children loved playing in the small garden and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. the hostel also has a veggie, friendly kitchen, clean showers, and recreational facilities like a pool and ping pong tables. a great place to stay if you love nature and want to explore the area. Cons: Everything was great! .

The value for money at Holifield Farm was fantastic - we booked a whole dorm room for our family of 5 and it had real rustic character with an eclectic mix of reclaimed materials. The location was perfect for exploring southern Cornwall, with a lovely pub, grocery store, and even a fish and chips van just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and our kids loved the pool and ping pong tables.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The bunk beds were super comfortable and gave us major sleepover vibes. Plus, we had a blast playing billiards in the common area. The hostel is in a rural area, which made for some epic adventures exploring the countryside. it was a fun-filled vacation with friends!
The only thing we would've asked for to make our stay even more awesome would be a killer dance floor. We could've had epic dance parties all night long!

The bedrooms at Holifield Farm Hostel are absolutely amazing! They lead out to a balcony with stunning views, making you feel like you're on top of the world. As a guest with disabilities, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Personally, I found the private bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower a bit small. But hey, that's just me!

Holifield Farm Hostel is situated in a peaceful countryside location, surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque views. The rustic charm of this place instantly puts you at ease, making it the perfect escape for families seeking tranquility. During our stay, we had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Seal Sanctuary, where our children were captivated by the adorable seals. The friendly and helpful staff, Hugo and Rob, made our experience even more enjoyable. The hostel itself was clean and spacious, with comfortable and exciting bunk beds that our kids loved. We also appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen and the convenience of having an espresso machine on hand. a must-visit if you and your family adore nature and want a relaxing getaway.
My wife says that the sofa bed could have been a bit bigger, especially for families with older children.

The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings of southern Cornwall. Within a short walk, we found a charming village with a pub, grocery store, bakery, and even a fish and chips and pizza van on certain days. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby Seal Sanctuary, just a five-minute walk through the fields. The hostel had a great vibe, with friendly staff were really good to make our stay enjoyable. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a lovely wooden cabin called Apple View with its own parking space, a small garden with garden furniture and BBQ, and fine views of the apple orchard and hills. The cabin had a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, as well as a spacious living/sleeping area. It was perfect for our family, and our children loved being able to safely play outdoors. The hostel also had a vege-friendly, fully-equipped kitchen, clean and spacious rooms with comfortable bunk beds, and even an espresso machine for use. Free WiFi was also a bonus.
Absolutely nothing.

The rural location was perfect for our adventure-seeking group. We had a blast exploring the nearby fishing village, where we enjoyed a pint at the pub and indulged in some mouthwatering fish and chips. The hostel had a cool vibe, with friendly staff and awesome facilities like billiards. Plus, the views of the apple orchard and hills from our cabin were absolutely rad!
If there's one thing we could change, it would be to have more party activities for young people. A lively common area with some music and a mini dance floor would have taken our stay to the next level!

The hostel is in the middle of nowhere, so we had total freedom to roam and explore. We played billiards all night and had a blast! The staff were super cool and the bunk beds had these mini curtains for extra privacy. Plus, free wifi! It was the perfect hangout spot for us teenagers.
The only thing that could've made our stay even more epic would've been a karaoke machine. We love to party and sing our hearts out, so having a karaoke night would've been the ultimate fun for us young party-goers.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, with all the attractions and sights close by. The facilities are sufficient for families with kids, and the showers are always clean and tidy. The staff, while only available via phone, are helpful and the Valentines are always there in the mornings for information. The hostel has a pool and ping pong tables, which the kids love. The bunk beds are nice and comfortable, and it's easy to find with a sat nav. Plus, there's a proper espresso machine for those who are brave enough!
One drawback is that there is no reception desk, so you can only reach the staff via phone.

I keep coming back to my favorite place for a weekend stay. The staff's local advice was so helpful, and the hostel has everything I need: free parking, an electric kettle, shared kitchen, leisure room with TV, billiard tables. I have no regrets.
